A coalition is a group of different people and organizations that work together to solve problems. Our coalitions work on preventing substance misuse (like drugs or alcohol) and on preventing suicide. We work to make our community healthier.
How do I fit in?
The strength of a community comes from having many people and organizations working together.
The coalitions work with 12 different groups that make up a community:
I am a...
Community member
Parent or family member
Law enforcement officer
School staff member
Local business
Media group (TV, newspapers, social media)
Employee of an organization helping the community
Religious group member
Civic and volunteer group member
Healthcare professional
Government employee
Other groups that help reduce substance misuse
